Easter - Christmas and New Year's weeks are considered high season. La Selva rents by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. By request La Selva can be booked for fewer days in the winter season. Check-in is Saturdays from 5:00pm up to 8:00 pm, and check-out time is before 10:00am Saturdays. Prices include a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen towels, bath and face towels, and sheets which our guests are given a fresh change every week on Saturday EXTRA COSTS: Obligatory cleaning of min. 3 hours 3 days a week, at 15 euro/hour. Heating is charged according to actual usage (9 euro/mc). Also available, for an extra charge (50 euro per week each): - crib - fold-up bed - high chair - towels for the pool (euro 1,90 each) - cook specialized in local Italian dishes a cook specialized in local Italian dishes (a dinner with typical Tuscan menu costs euro 35/person or 20 euro/child, wines excluded). - maid service (15 euros/hour) There is also a washing machine and dryer in laundry-mat style available to all our guests (cost = 8 euro per load of wash, dry and soap included) babysitters on request; extra change of sheets and/or towels during the week Special requests may be made ahead of time, and we will do our best to arrange them. --------------------- If you will be arriving late Saturday remember that the shops close at 7:30 and everything is closed on Sundays, except the bars. TOWN MARKETS: Tuesday morning - Ambra (small) Wednesday morning - Bucine (small) or Siena (big) Thursday morning - Rapolano (small) or Montevarchi (big) ANTIQUE MARKET: There is a fantastic antique market on the weekend of the first Sunday of every month in Arezzo. This is one of the biggest antique markets in Italy. There is everything from old furniture, records, tea sets, glass ware, iron works, pictures, jewellery to old doilies and cloths. Another good place to buy true antiques is the town of Monte San Savino, near here (20 minutes drive). SHOP HOURS: Sunday: everything is closed except bars. Monday: Monday morning all shops that have nothing to do with food are closed in the morning.
